What is felt material?
Felt may be the oldest fabric known to humans since there are many references to felt in ancient writings. Wool fibers were felted in China/Central Asia tens of thousands of years ago and made into soft and supple fabric. Since felt is not woven and does not require a loom for its production, it can be handmade without equipment!
Our felt is composed of 100% New Zealand Wool which produces the highest quality fabric.

Attomic –
This cat cave is extremely well-made from New Zealand wool and is the height of luxury. My cat was a bit suspicious at first, but after I put a few bits of his dry food in the cave, he soon realised it was friend not foe!
He used to like to hide under the sink in my bathroom, but now this is his hiding hole of choice and he can usually be found in there when not sunning himself on the windowsill. Its a very simple design that is thick enough to be self supporting but remains soft enough to be a bit mouldable to his shape when he curls up inside.
At the current Primer price of £49.99, it’s not cheap and definitely an investment, but it should last for years, and it looks good (I went for the Blues variety). It would make a great treat or present for a cat or fellow cat-lover.
