dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.

What is felt material?

Felt may be the oldest fabric known to humans since there are many references to felt in ancient writings. Wool fibers were felted in China/Central Asia tens of thousands of years ago and made into soft and supple fabric. Since felt is not woven and does not require a loom for its production, it can be handmade without equipment!

Our felt is composed of 100% New Zealand Wool which produces the highest quality fabric.

    Beautifully made sturdy felt cat cave which my British shorthair took to straight away! It came carefully packed. Can’t say enough good words – what a sustainable product and business with customer and pet wellbeing at heart.

    Tony now occupies his cave and when his head pokes out looks like a snail – I wish I could include a photo.
