How are we different than our competitors?

Higher fat-content and salt may make the chews last longer but we took the opposite route. Our chews may not be the longest lasting but is definately healthier!!

Our dog chews come air-tight packaged with silica gel. Some of these chews are prone to moulds so it is a must to have it in a closed air-tight packaging.

We throughly clean and process our yak chews with lime-juice which is an addional step but we do this to ensure the chews are not contaminated

Our Mission
It is rare to find dog treats that aren’t filled with chemicals, additives and preservatives in the pet industry today. Most pet products seem healthy until you find out the ingredients used in the process and the harm it may come with it. With only 4 ingredients, Everest Dog Chews are a different type of treat. An all natural treat that comes from the ancient recipes of the Himalayan region. We strive to provide every dog with a natural snack completely chemical free as well as grain free. Our product is so healthy that even you could snack on it, just as the natives of the Himalayas often do. We work directly with the local farmers who are producing chews for us. One of our key missions is to keep this symbiotic relationship prosperous in order to nurture our own community.

During the production of our treats we ensure that all the lactose and gluten are taken out, this insures the treat is digestible for even the most picky of eaters. -

Apart from providing ample of protein for your dogs growth, our treats also aide with healthier teeth. The excessive chewing needed to consume the treat, helps in cleaning out any plaque. -
Long Lasting
Another benefit to Everest Dog Chews, is that they last at least 4 – 5 times longer than most other yak chew brands, so you get real value out of every purchase.
How are they made?
The yak and cow milk is boiled for an hour, after which the hot milk is poured into a hand-cranked centrifuge (to remove all of the fat). The remaining fat-free milk is used to create the Everest Dog Chew and the filtered out fat is boiled to create a local butter known as “ghee”. This ghee is sold as a separate product locally. When the milk has cooled down, salt and lime juice is added to coagulate the mixture. The milk solids are separated and washed to remove remnant whey. The milk solids are compressed and then cut to various sizes.
